What is the difference between Clear and Starphire Glass?

Clear glass has a natural green tinge, we use this glass as a cheaper (but not inferior) options for darker colours, it can also be used to get that perfect cool green colour that many people desire. Or we can use genuine American starphire glass that is low in iron to give you a more accurate colour for lighter colours.

We only use Australian and American manufactured glass.

Do you toughen your glass?

We use 6mm safety toughened glass for all our splashbacks adhering to all Australian safety standards. The glass goes through a furnace in the toughening process which makes the glass splashbacks heat resistant.

At what stage should I organise a quote and measure?

Coloured Glass Solutions can quote by simply contacting us with the sizes of your glass area. When you require an in house quotation, the kitchen or bathroom needs to be completed. That includes bench tops, power points, range hoods, taps, cabinetry, and architraves. In cases if the glass is going behind a range hood, the holes need to be marked out on the wall before measuring.

What is the best surface to apply a glass splashback?

We can apply the glass onto any clean smooth surface, been free of any nails or imperfections that may damage the paint or the glass.
